In March of 2002 members of the LaSalle Police Service and LaSalle Police Association formed the LaSalle Police Youth Foundation with a common goal to financially assist local youth related activities, events and programs within the Town of LaSalle and Essex County. 

The Youth Foundation raises funds at the Annual LaSalle Police Charity Golf Classic and distributes those funds during the year as requests for assistance are received.  Click on the link below to see were the money has been donated.

To date the Youth Foundation has raised just over $136,000 and all monies have been donated to local youth related events, activities, programs and charities in LaSalle and Essex County. Every school year the Youth Foundation donates money to our two local high schools for athletic and academic bursaries.

In 2007 the Youth Foundation committed $100,000 to the Vollmer Recreational Complex.  Those funds will be raised solely through the Charity Golf Tournament with the support of the Community and our major corporate sponsors.  To date $50,000 of the commitment has been paid with another $50,000 to be raised over the next five years.
